Research Overview
Our research focuses on probing the quantum properties of two-dimensional (2D) quantum materials via cryogenic scanning probe microscopy. By employing atomically precise synthesis and characterization techniques, we aim to elucidate the fundamental structure-property relationship inherent in 2D quantum materials. Furthermore, we endeavor to engineer the surfaces and interfaces of these quantum materials at the atomic level, targeting applications in nanotechnology, quantum information technology, and alternative energy.

Meet The Team
Our group is a vibrant community of passionate researchers united by a shared curiosity for the 2D world and a drive to make a real impact. We foster an open and collaborative environment where every voice is valued, and every perspective is respected. We are currently seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate students to contribute to our groundbreaking research. Interested candidates are welcome to contact Dr. Li (liqiucheng@westlake.edu.cn) to learn more about our research and potential opportunities.
